HELP Fraser Technology Park Campus

HELP’s New Fraser Campus in Kuala Lumpur (expected completion in April 2010)

We are proud to announce that the 2010 ARUPS Congress will be held at HELP’s new city campus which is located within the newly developed Fraser Technology Park.  This new campus which will be officially opened in April 2010 will be equipped with international conference facilities which will be ideal for the 600 participants we expect at the 2010 ARUPS Congress
Located just 10 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur City centre, the venue is located at the Chan Sow Lin rail station, which is one of the main city stations and therefore is easily assessable through Kuala Lumpur’s LRT (Light Rail Transport) system. 
The venue is connected within 25 minutes by rail to some of Kuala Lumpur’s major attractions including the Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC), Handicraft Market/Pasar Seni, Bukit Bintang (Main shopping area), and Masjid Jamek (Heritage Site). The venue is also connected to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport via rail.

Note: The HELP Fraser Campus is located at the Chan Sow Lin Station

It is located:

  • Approximately 15 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre

 

  • About 1 hour from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport
    • Directly next to the Chan Sow Lin Light Rail Transit (LRT) station, also easily accessible by taxi

 How to get there

There are a few options to get to the Conference Venue from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT):

A. Taxi route:

 

    1. Coupons for taxis and limos can be obtained at the Airport Limo counters at the Arrival Hall.

B. Bus route:

    1. Buses to KL Sentral Train Station are available every 15 minutes to an hour at the airports.

    4. From KL Sentral Train Station, take the Kelana Jaya LRT Line heading towards Terminal Putra to the Masjid Jamek Station
    5. At the Masjid Jamek Station, interchange to the Ampang LRT Line heading towards Ampang.
    6. Drop off at the Chan Sow Lin LRT station.
    7. Walk across to the HELP Fraser Technology Park Campus.

C. Train route:

    1. Board the Express Rail Link (ERL) at the airport to KL Sentral Train Station**.  [Further details can be found at: http://www.kliaekspres.com/erlsb/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx ]
    2. From KL Sentral Train Station, take the Kelana Jaya LRT Line heading towards Terminal Putra to the Masjid Jamek Station
    3. At the Masjid Jamek Station, interchange to the Ampang LRT Line heading towards Ampang.
    4. Drop off at the Chan Sow Lin LRT station.
    5. Walk across to the HELP Fraser Technology Park Campus.

**From KL Sentral, taxis, buses and Light Rail Transit (LRT) trains are available to take you to various places within Kuala Lumpur.
